Broom Finish System
Excellent for repairing sidewalks, curbs, and gutters, S-9300 Bond-Kote® makes worn concrete look new again – and makes it even tougher. The Broom Finish System provide an economical alternative to the removal and replacement of existing concrete. This system creates a flexible and durable finish that can be used to re-level, renovate, resurface and create decorative patterns and designs. When properly sealed, the new finish will resist gas, oils, water, salts, freeze thaw cycles, and ultraviolet rays. For dramatic color and style, add S-11000 Ure-Kote™ paint or S-9500 Color Stain™.
For improved aesthetics and durable repairs without demolition and replacement, simply level out the surface by applying two coats of S-9300 Bond-Kote creating a nominal thickness of 1/32″ to 1/8″ over existing concrete and add a basic skid-resistant broom texture. The finish can be light or coarse depending on the broom bristles used. Drawing the broom across the surface in unique patterns can create more ornate designs.
